International travel into the Asia Pacific maintained its relatively strong performance in 2015 by attracting in excess of an estimated 540 million international visitor arrivals; expanding its annual collective inbound count by around 4.5 percent, and generating more than 23 million additional foreign visits year-on-year as a result. This is the sixth consecutive year in which foreign arrivals growth has remained above the long-term global average.

The ATM Early Edition is published in the first half of the year and provides a snapshot of travel movements into major Asia Pacific destinations during calendar year 2015, identifying top destinations in terms of visitor volumes and annual growth. Highlights also include an overview of arrivals from key source markets including China, India, France, Germany, Japan, Korea (ROK), the USA and the UK amongst others.
